Brian was an outstanding member of OMBC . He was an expert on local government housing issues as well as being a dedicated Councillor for the Failsworth East Ward for 14 years . Socially he was great company and enjoyed watching Delph and Dobcross Cricket as well as supporting Oldham Athletic all the way to Wembley. We are the richer for knowing him
And the poorer for his passing RIP.

Brian Lund was a very friendly and knowledgeable councillor. He got on with his job as Chair of Housing with the minimum of fuss.
I always thought he would have made an excellent MP in Oldham or Yorkshire. He was a socialist through and through.
